Dreams: What a waste of time
So here it is: All of this took place on a pier; one of those big piers in San Francisco bay. I was walking along the pier and it must’ve been a Wednesday right before sundown, ‘cuz it was pretty empty. So I’m walking along and I see a couple of my friends sitting at a table and I have a seat and have a quick chat about how I lost my phone and still haven’t got it replaced.
Then it transitions to me inside of a toy store. It’s a really narrow store and this time it’s packed with people; I can’t take a step without bumping into shoulders and elbows. I look over to the left wall and I see a rack of action figures in their clamshell packages, but I can’t make out what they’re supposed to be. I put one package down, then I pick the same one up, but this time it’s changed shape and color.
It transitions to me outside again, on the same pier. I’m walking with my two original friends and now with another aquantance. We walk and we talk about a way to trick the waiters at this one restaurant to give us more soup in our bread bowls. This is going to sound strange, but we were talking about a mustard-based soup. Even stranger, I look over and see my friends’ faces, but I can’t make them out anymore. I know who they are, but they don’t look anything like they’re supposed to.
We continue to walk to the end of the pier and my friends stay while I board a boat. I know it’s going to be a long trip, but I’m not really sure where I’m going, but I know that it’s time to go. It’s a large boat, but I’m the only person on board.
Then I wake up.
What a waste of time.
