Alright, it’s been way too long since I’ve done a food review.  Actually, it’s been a long time since I’ve done any blogging.  More accurately, it’s been a long time since I really did anything productive.  Crap. Oh well, I thought that I’d start getting back on track by adding some structure back into my life, and one of those things are getting back to making videos and doing some decent food reviews.

[They try to keep it fun, and nothing’s more fun than Karaoke.  Well…I guess there might be some other stuff, but I wouldn’t know.]

[The inside’s got a couple of big screen TVs, a couple of video games, and free peanuts.  All the ingredients to have a good time.]

But just entering this place, you kinda get a homey feel.  There’s not more than a square feet on the walls and ceilings without some sort of sports decorations, there’s two TVs going, and there’s a bunch of peanut shells on the ground.  All the ingredients for a good time.  Even without food, this is just a good place to hang out.  They have free peanuts and free TV, so ordering a drink and a plate of hot wings is a totally awesome way to spend a Sunday afternoon. But this is primarily a pizza place, and they really do a good job here.

[The Esperienza. The large is so freaking large that I had to have someone stand in to get a good size comparison.  It’s loaded with toppings and it’s good.]

I think the picture of the pizza says it all.  ‘Pizza’ makes up half of their name, because when it comes to pizza, they do a good job.  The esperienza is just heavy with toppings.  It’s just a huge mix of vegetables and meat and extra cheese, and on top of that, the crust is just tasty.  There isn’t a part on this pizza that isn’t good; crust included. There is a bit of warning though.  Because there’s so many toppings on this pizza, it does get soggy towards the bottom.  So eat this pizza fast, or move it to a box if you don’t want your dough to get too soggy.  But if it does, you can just microwave it up and it’s a whole new level of awesome.

[An action shot of the pizza eating…or bad picture taking.]

But here’s the drawback of Vincenzo’s…the atmosphere’s good, the pizza’s good, everything else isn’t really spectacular.  I had a calzone at this place and I was really disappointed.  The only thing that stopped me from giving this place a 5 thumb rating was the fact that their calzones and sandwiches are just average. It’s still an awesome place to hang out, and they have amazing pizzas, but it’s lacking a wide menu of equally good food.  Sorry Vincenzo’s.

[This average calzone is what cost this place a 5 thumb rating.]

Final thoughts: this place makes good pizza, and it’s a good place to hang out and watch big games, and food reviews are moving to Mondays, and I still need to find work, and I need an oil change, and I think it’s too cold in the mornings, and I want to drink some juice right now…but I’m just rambling now.
