Register to Vote Everybody!! October 20th deadline.

[Celebrities are saying “Don’t Vote…or you can skip to 1:40.]

If celebrities aren’t gonna get you to register to vote, I found a quote from a Congressman of Minnesota’s 5th District from 1943 to 1963.

“People often say that, in a democracy, decisions are made by a majority of the people. Of course, that is not true. Decisions are made by a majority of those who make themselves heard and who vote - a very different thing.”

Dang it people…if politics from the last X number of years have pissed you off, here’s a chance for your vote to count and have an impact in the direction of our country.  A lot of people choose to opt out of voting in California, because of the tendency for it to go for the Democratic candidates; but there are more things to vote on in November.

  1. Register to vote.
  2. Research the candidates and legistlation for the 2008 ballot.
  3. Go to your local polling location on November 4, 2008.
  4. Pat yourself on the back…you’re a participating citizen.
