Soccer Definitely Has Its Moments

What you’re seeing here is Dutch soccer player Demy De Zeeuw (Orange jersey) getting bicycle-kicked mid-air by Martin Caceres (guy that just bicycle-kicked Orange jersey in the face) in what might be the most amazing play of the entire 2010 World Cup.  I mean, do you see this?  You can tell that this wasn’t intentional, because you couldn’t do it if you tried.  The timing, the position, the camera angles…it’s all perfect.

But in the slim chance that this was an intentional kick, God help anyone that ever messes with Martin Caceres.  After De Zeeuw gets kicked in the air, he actually gets boosted up a couple of inches by 100% unadulterated Uruguayan kicking might.

I take back some of the bad things I’ve said about soccer in the past…it definitely has its moments.

P.S.  I’ve been watching this on loop for over 5 minutes and it just doesn’t get old.
